I am writing a long essay to graduate from middle school and to make my mom and dad very proud of me. The words that I have to do an essay on are adulate, bias, subtile, eerie, and tumultuous. BRIAN'S ESSAY
The words are Adulate, Bias, Eerie, subtle, and tumultuous. What is it? Or the definition of them. Who says the word or is it popular or used a lot. Is it used in a sentence or as a simile. How do they use it , in what occasion? Like subtle skinny people use it, and tumultuous people use it as freedom of speech. Adulate to praise someone to much or love them to much.
Adulate means to adore or love or to praise too much someone with a passion. Like the Egyptians they adulated their Gods twenty-four seven. They were actually forced to adulate the gods and pharaohs. What is it, is a word that means to worship or a love someone or something to much. In the past people used to say the word because that was when they acted fancy, like when they weared the wigs. This was during the civil war or something like that. I don’t think it’s popular now a days, I think it’s only for like the fancy or rich people who still use it. For example : It’s ridiculous how she adulates that good-for nothing that big sister of hers. A business executive who unwisely surrounds herself with incompetent assistants who spend all their time adulating her. The kind of people that might use it more would be girls, because they love lots of stuff, like teddy bears, or actors and singers.
To be Bias means having an attitude that always favors one way of feeling or acting without considering any other possibilities or to cause to have often negative opinions formed without sufficient knowledge. The people that say it, are the people that feel they have to say something or want to stand up for themselves or others. I think that many people know about this word but probably teachers know what the word is, so it is not that much popular. For example: He had a powerful bias towards doing all math problems by the same method, regardless of the problem. They use it everywhere, but in different words. They use it in sentences and speak it. I feel bias because children can’t vote.
To be eerie means to be fearfully and mysteriously strange or fantastic. The type of people that use it is like ghost hunters or people that think stuff are fantastic. The type of people that use it is like ghost hunters(people that talk to the paranormal), or people that like to use words that mean fantastic. Wow, did you hear that paranormal noise it was eerie. The sound sounds eerie, where did you find it. They use it anywhere, but I think not many many people use it anymore. They use it as a scary word. Eerie they use it as when something is freighting or really cool. The word is definitely not used a lot probably people don’t use it no more, it’s one of those words that is still on the dictionary, but people don’t use a lot.

Alfaro's Long 700 word essay!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I have to write the longest essay I have done which means that they've been longer essays but I didn't do them because I hate writing but I'm doing this so I can graduate and make my mom "proud". Well I am so sleepy because I have to do this very subtle essay but want can I do about it. well yesterday at school it was really weird and interesting things happened but I'll tell you the boring things. I was standing not adulating cars like others except I was pretending to play soccer but I really suck because I don't play continuously. I saw a eerie person on Monday riding a bike as if he were on drugs. Well again about yesterday at school lunch was boring as usual because it was way to hot to do anything so I sat most of my lunch. In P.E. I was really having fun until I had to talk to Paola Cobo which stopped me from playing dodge ball the funnest game to hurt people in. well in our new class film we were watching Spider-Man 3 and while we were watching Angelica Waner and Jahmeel tumultuously kept making fun of me so I couldn't do anything peacefully so that. After school I had to stay after school for subtle band practice which is getting boring since I am not receiving any eerie challenge. When I got back from school I ate a very nutritious food that I don't remember only that my mother was a little bias to me because I accidentally messed up her phone so she was really pissed so she wouldn't talk to me but I didn't care because this was a really subtle situation. Yesterday while I was skating and listening to music I adulated how Slash the ex lead guitarist for Guns n' Roses played his solo. Well after I sweat because of skating I went inside my house to see the end of the NBA finals in which the Boston Celtics killed the "eerie" Los Angeles Lakers by forty something points. Alfaro's Plans after RMMS
My plans after RMMS are to go to high school, play drums so much better than now, and try to skate everyday so when I come back from summer I'm way better. In high school I really need to stop being lazy and mature a little because the high school that I'm going to doesn't tolerate anything. Another thing I might do is just try rest all summer by sleeping.
In summer I plan for many thing but I know I won;t do them but I'll say them anyway. My first plan is to try to fix up my room because there all sorts of things in there and sometimes I find things I would have needed a year ago so oh well. My second thing is gain weight because I am underweight weighing 92 pound when I should be weighing 100-105. Another is learn how to play the drums like the drummer from Def Leopard with one hand. well I think that all except my birthday is coming up and it's always boring at my house so I might pretend it's a regular day with no school.

image in america
Is American really obsessed with image you might ask, but the question is you and the people around you obsessed with image? If this applies to you, it is probably true. America’s image of a person is represented by wealth and health. A person that does not fall into this category is wether not considered an American or left trying to get to that point of so-called beauty. This image is found everywhere you see. It can be posted on the internet, found in a magazine, seen on television, almost everywhere you look, even in the mirror. Many people are judged and creedists by others that they start thinking of themselves. They think they are ugly and no longer want to be part of the group.
This makes a very good connection to a book we read in English class. The books name is Cyrano De Bergerac. It is a play about a man named Cyrano that is in love with a woman that he he thinks is too good for him. This relates to image because Roxane, Cyrano’s love, loves another man that is better looking than him, which relates to us because we try to like only the attractive people.

LIFE AS A STUDENT IN RICHARD MERKIN MIDDLE SCHOOL

When I was in 6th grade in Richard Merkin Middle School, which really was called back then College Ready Middle Academy, was really cool. After school everyone would go to 7 eleven, Taco bell, Sub way, this pizza place, or Carl’s Jr. And their was a target next to us. Even though the School was smaller then the school we have now. It was still fun. Then 7th grade in Richard Merkin Middle School was all right, moving the school to a bigger place. Are science teacher and MCL teacher was cool. In science we would dissect stuff like fish and squids. And now in the 8th grade it’s actually cool that were going to graduate and are going to have a school dance.

The china earthquake caused 69,016 deaths, 368,545 injuries, 18,830 missing, and 15,147,400 evacuated. The hospital had treated 91,762 injured survivors as of Sunday noon of whom 61,597 were discharged. A total of 191 aftershocks were detected.
Donation from home and abroad to the quake-hit regions had reached 41.5 billion Yuan. About 11.5 billion in cash and relief materials had been forwarded to the earthquake attected areas. Meanwhile, 448,140 tents had been delivered, said Lu Guangjin, an official with the office. Also, 35,458 makeshift houses, 2,419,347 quilts and 3,304,526 garments had been sent to the region, he said. About 336,000 tons of fuel and 723,000 tons of coal were sent to the region as well, he noted. Water poured from a brimming lake formed by China's massive earthquake down a manmade spillway Tuesday, as towns downstream went on alert for possible flooding should the unstable dam burst. 40 percent of homes in the town of Qingyi were at risk while the city of Mianyang, where residents have been practicing evacuation drills, was on alert. Flood water seeped into riverside houses in the largely evacuated town of Qinglian, a resident who remained in the area said."Everybody feels lucky that it didn't submerge the streets and the neighborhood," said Wu Zhenxing.For days, troops had been using dynamite and anti-tank weapons to blast boulders and other obstacles in a diversion canal, trying to speed the flow of water and relieve pressure on the lake's unstable mud and rock dam.It wasn't immediately clear, however, whether engineers could control the flow and prevent a breach that would cause severe flooding downstream. More than 250,000 people downstream have already moved to high ground due to concerns the barrier holding back the lake could breach entirely. About 1.3 million people total live downstream.

My name is Jorge Perez. i wear glasses and i am in the 8th grade. i am a music freak, i listen to a lot of music on my spare time. i like to skate on the weekends. When i skate i go to the skate park at palms springs, even though it's a 2 hour drive its still worth it. I like playing all sorts of sports but my favorite sport is footbal. My favorite team in the NFL is the Raiders. I also like basketball too, my favorite team in the NBA is the Lakers and I believe that the Lakers will defeat the Celtics and win the NBA Championship.
